Witafjürgen University
An institution nearly as old as Jïumannes itself, Witafjürgen University is an institution of higher learning and professional association located within the holy mountains of Tuihorm, and established by Fyrehter Witacruf with a number of academic and firekeeping professionals. In keeping with the meaning of its name, a “Forest of the Wise,” Witafjürgen’s principal purpose is as a professional group of firekeepers and academics, which has a secondary purpose of teaching and screening potential new members of the group.
Witafjürgen is composed of six individual colleges, each dedicated to one area of research in phlogistics, and founded by one of Witacruf’s associates. Each college includes and manages their own undergraduate and graduate education, research, and professional unions. The main connecting line is their organizational structure, with each college being led by a master and their head professors (“tenures” in the vernacular), further subordinated by regular professors. The master of each college then serves on a board, which meets with the Grandmaster to decide on matters relating to the whole university.
In no particular order, the colleges are the:
- Leombjürna College of Hagnomists
- Nichtfryth College of Soulsmiths
- Skógrekin College of Flamebearers
- Tdahiya College of Scribes
- Krifcalon College of Lapidaries
- Eglavoé College of Synthesizers
